Changing Your Mindset to Achieve Unlimited Success

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

If you are hoping to achieve unlimited success in life or in business, it is important for you to take a close look at your mindset and to make any changes necessary in order to get you where you want to be in life.  Unfortunately, most of us are taught from a very young age to have a closed mindset.  As a result, we have a very limited idea of what we are capable of achieving.

To a certain degree, this mindset is taught to us in school, where we are rarely taught to see “outside the box.”  On the other hand, the role models we have in our lives also indirectly fail to teach us how to work toward achieving unlimited success.  Therefore, you must break free of this mindset and realize your true potential.

The Dreaded “F” Word

When it comes to achieving unlimited success, you must eliminate one four-letter “F” word from your vocabulary:  Fear.  If you allow yourself to have fear, it will prevent you from taking the action necessary to gain unlimited success.

Some people who have learned to change their mindset consider the word FEAR to be an acronym meaning False Evidence Appearing Real.  When it comes to changing your mindset, however, it is better to think of the word as meaning False Education Appearing Real.  In other words, you need to realize and to understand that the education you have received – whether it be through formal schooling or through informal and indirect learning by the role models around you – may have provided you with a false sense of reality.  As a result, you have actually learned to fear trying something new because you are afraid of failing.

Putting a New “F” Word in Your Vocabulary

If you wish to achieve unlimited success, you need to replace fear with a new “F” word:  Faith.  Having faith in yourself and in your abilities to succeed helps encourage you to take action.  Yes, it is possible that you will fail in your first attempt.  But, no one that has achieved unlimited success was completely successful the first time he or she tried something new.  And, if you do fail, you will likely discover that failure isn’t quite as bad as you once thought it to be!

Instead of looking at failure as a roadblock, you should consider it to be a learning experience.  From your failure, you will discover what things worked and what things did not work.  As a result, you will have a greater chance of being successful the next time you try.

Don’t Be a Thinker or a Talker – Be a Walker

When it comes to being successful in business or in life, you need to take a long and hard look at yourself and identify your mindset.  Every person on the planet falls into one of three categories:

  • Thinkers – people that think about becoming successful
  • Talkers – people that talk about becoming successful
  • Walkers – people that get out there, get things done, and make it happen

If you are a thinker or a talker, life and all of its potential successes will simply pass you by.  If you are a walker, on the other hand, you won’t just sit around thinking and talking about becoming a success.  Rather, you will start taking action.

Remember, 3% of the population is responsible for 97% of the success stories in the world.  The difference between the 3% that make it happen and the 97% that do not is that their fear prevents them from moving beyond being a thinker or a talker and becoming a walker.  Don’t let fear hold you back.  Change your mindset and start walking.  Before you know it, unlimited success will be yours for the taking – and you will no longer be just walking, you will be running every step of the way!

The #1 Investment In Difficult Times!

Friday, January 9th, 2009

Warren Buffet, one of the smartest, richest and most successful
businessmen in the world, was recently asked what he thought
as the best investment anyone could make in these financially
diffucult times.

His answer was clear and concise:

“The most important investment you can make is in yourself.”

This simple answer is valid in all times, good as well as
bad times, and it’s the same advice most of the successful
men and women of today would give anybody.

It could be the very best advice you have ever got. If you
also want to invest in yourself, start here:

Invest In Yourself

Never before have we faced such times of uncertainty. What
will happen with the global economy? How will it affect your
situation? Your job or your business? How long will the
recession last?

The questions are endless and no-one has the answers. Time
will tell.

However, instead of waiting for what will happen, why not
take action yourself and take the necessary steps to control
your own destiny? Isn’t it better to be in the driver seat
instead of being in the back seat? Isn’t it better to be
pro-active instead of re-active?

If you ask the most successful businessmen and women,
they will assure you that there are more opportunities
in bad times than in good times, and that this is an
excellent opportunity to become (more) successful.

If you don’t grab the opportunity, someone else will.
Go here now and take the first step to you own successful
future by ordering the book that helps you take control
over your future.

Invest In Yourself

Your Fear of Failure Makes It Hard To Succeed

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Have you ever thought of how some people make the most out of life, while others simply drag their feet?  To truly create power and success, you really need to know what you want to achieve.  You should really give this a lot of deep thought and look within yourself and ask yourself honestly what it is that you want out of life.

Behind every idea and success, there always lies a lot of work to be done even though we do not see it in the end result.  Seldom do we actually know all of the effort and hard work a very successful person has put forth to become the successful person that they are today.

For example, perhaps you have had a boss in your past at your place of work whom was highly successful.  Chances are very good that he or she had to work very hard for years to get where he or she is now.  It does not come overnight.

What idea or dream do you have that you would like to come true?  Have you decided to give it a chance?  Many of us have had grand dreams at some point in our lives that we had wished for more than anything, but have thought that we simply could not achieve those dreams without even giving them a chance.  We must give our dreams a chance.

Behind every success there often lie many failures.  Is it not time to dare both the successes and failures?  When you are ready to do both of these, you are ready to create the future that you deserve. We should not fear failing as it only stops us from even attempting to make our dreams reality.  So take the chance, and stare your fear in the face; it will be worth it in the end.

Four tips for you who are ready to fail, in order to succeed:

  1. Begin working on your dream today
  2. Putting off your plans for your dreams is the same as giving up your dream
  3. Do not allow anyone to stop your dream (you or someone else)
  4. Make sure that you create a plan of action that you cannot back out of when you begin to become afraid of failing

The personal development that you get out of these four steps is probably the biggest boost you can give yourself in your life.  You can most certainly get the most out of your life by beating the fear of failing and not letting anyone stop you from achieving your dream.

Good Luck!
